9) Dear Sponsor Page

Dear Sponsor,

I chose you as my sponsor because you are a family friend and I am grateful to have a sponsor when my godparents or anyone else wasn't available.  You also meet the requirements of a sponsor: being older than 16, celebrates mass and had confirmation, first communion, and baptism. You are also a good example by meeting some Catholic graduate expectations. You are a responsible person because when I was little, you would pick me up after school and made sure I returned home safely. Also, you are a good  example of a Catholic believer who celebrates the sacraments and celebrates mass.

8) The Ten Commandments

Meanings:

1. Do not worship any other God, there is only one you should worship, the Lord.
2. Do not say the Lord's name in a unholy way.
3. Rest on the seventh day to be with the Lord.
4. Respect and obey your parents though your action and words.
5. Do not end a person's life by killing them.
6. Do not have intercourse if you're not married.
7. Do not take something that isn't yours or that wasn't given to you.
8. Do not lie.

9. Do not desire another person's spouse and don't cheat.
10. Do not envy or want what other people have.

10 Commandments I live by:

1. Be Honest, lies only lead towards more lies.
2. Share with others, selfishness leads to greed.
3. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated.
4. Follow your heart, no one has the right to control your life.
5. Think on the bright side of things, it will get better.
6. Be grateful for what you have before it's gone.
7. Try, you'll never know if you don't try.
8. Think critically, things can be deceiving or a lie.
9. Be a positive example, create a positive message to others.
10. Don't judge a person easily, nobody's perfect.

7) Fruits of the Holy Spirit

Love

Love is when you are attached or attracted to someone. When you want to be around the person and take care of them so you won't lose them. We love our family, friends, pets and many more. We are loved everyday even when we don't notice. Though it's important to love others, even enemies, it's important to love yourself so you can realize how special you really are. Without love, we wouldn't care for anyone and hate each other.

Joy

Joy is when you are happy or glad. We can be happy by doing what we like to do such as listening to music, playing sports, dancing, talking to friends, reading or drawing. Joy helps us to forget our worries and enjoy what's happening right now. It also calms us down so we don't get too stressed out.
Peace

Peace is to be calm or in harmony. We can be calm when we are sleeping, meditating or listening to calm, quiet music. When we are calm, we can reflect about life and think deeply about what we are doing or what we can change. Peace could also mean to end a fight with someone and forgive them.

Patience

Patience means to be able to be calm when things are difficult. We can try to remain calm when we have a problem, dealing with difficult people or when we are waiting. Patience can help us remain strong when life is difficult and help improve our self control.

Kindness

Kindness is when we are friendly, caring or generous towards others no matter what we think of them. We can be kind through small actions by saying "good morning" or holding the door for someone. Kindness helps other people realize that there are people in the world who care and puts a smile on our face.

Goodness

Goodness means to be a good person or Samaritan. When we are good, we do the right thing such as helping others. We can help others by standing up to bullying, pick up trash, or sharing what you have.

Faithfulness

Faithfulness means to be loyal. We are faithful to our beliefs. When we believe in something, we show how much we believe and don't care what others think. Since I believe in God, I show my faithfulness by praying, and attending church.

Gentleness

Gentleness means not to be harsh or to be in control. We can be gentle when we are in a difficult situation and handle the situation calmly and gently.

Self Control

Self control means to be aware of what you're doing and think before you do. Self control prevents us from doing something reckless or wrong. We can control ourselves by thinking before we do, be patient and be gentle.
